GAMCA & Wafid Medical Test FAQs

Do I need an agent to get a Wafid appointment slip?

No. You can register and pay for your appointment yourself on the official portal, wafid.com, with no service fee. Wafidbooking is an optional, independent booking-assistance service: we complete the booking for you and email your slip for a flat booking fee. Whoever you use, pay only a website or company you have checked, and never hand your passport to someone you cannot verify.

Can I cancel my appointment slip after booking?

You can request a cancellation on the Cancel Appointment page, by email or on WhatsApp. Whether you get a refund depends on how far the booking has gone. There is no refund once the slip has been generated or the medical centre has recorded a Fit/Unfit result, and full or partial refunds apply only in the cases listed in our Cancellation & Refund Policy. Eligible refunds are credited to the original payment method within 7 to 10 working days. If you entered a detail incorrectly, contact us before the booking is confirmed so it can be corrected.

How long does the GAMCA medical result take?

Most GAMCA / Wafid medical reports are finalised within 24 to 72 hours of the examination. Cases that need a repeat sample or extra review can take longer. You can check the status online with your passport number and nationality instead of going back to the centre. If the status has not changed well beyond the time your centre quoted, contact the medical centre directly, because only the centre can release or correct a report.

I paid but did not receive my appointment slip. What should I do?

First check your spam or junk folder, because the slip is emailed to the address you entered on the booking form. If it is not there, contact our support team by phone or WhatsApp on +91 9048111199, or through the Contact page, with your passport number and payment reference. We will confirm your booking and send the slip again.

How long are the appointment slip and the medical report valid?

They are two different documents. Your appointment slip is valid for 30 days from the date of booking, and you must attend the assigned centre within that time. The medical report issued after the examination has its own validity for visa purposes, typically 60 to 90 days, set by the destination country. Confirm the exact period with your employer, recruitment agent or the embassy before making travel plans.

Do I have to use Wafidbooking to get a GCC medical appointment?

No. GCC medical appointment slips have been issued online since 2018, and you can register and pay on the official portal at wafid.com yourself with no service fee. Wafidbooking is an optional assisted-booking service. Our booking fee is Rs 1,200 (US$18), which covers registering your appointment, assigning an approved centre and emailing your slip. The medical examination fee is separate and is paid directly to the centre on the day.

How do I book a Wafid / GAMCA medical appointment?

Fill in the form on the Book Appointment page with your passport and travel details, choose your destination country and city, and pay the booking fee. A medical centre near your chosen city is assigned automatically and your appointment slip is emailed to you. We book for all six GCC destination countries (Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain) at approved centres in 25 countries, listed on our Medical Centres page. For help, call or WhatsApp +91 9048111199.

How will I receive my appointment slip?

Once your payment is confirmed, your appointment slip is sent as a PDF to the email address on your booking form, and we may also share it on WhatsApp using the number you gave. The booking fee is not refundable after the slip has been issued. If you lose the slip later, download it again from the Check Booking Status page using your passport number.

What happens if I am found unfit in the GAMCA medical?

An unfit result means the examination found a condition that does not meet the GCC health requirements for your destination country. Some conditions are temporary. Ask the medical centre that examined you for the reason, and whether and when a re-examination is possible. Any waiting period depends on the condition and on the destination country's rules.

Why book through Wafidbooking?

Some applicants would rather not deal with the official portal themselves. We offer a guided booking form in English and Arabic, a flat booking fee of Rs 1,200 (US$18) with no hidden charges, and human support by phone, WhatsApp and email if something goes wrong. If you are comfortable using wafid.com directly, you can book there with no service fee.

Can I choose a specific medical centre?

In most countries, no. A medical centre near the city you select is assigned automatically. Manual selection of a specific centre is available only for Lebanon, the Philippines, Tanzania, Thailand and Turkey.

Can I change the city or country on my appointment?

Not on an existing slip. Your appointment slip is valid for 30 days. If you need a different city or destination country, you can book a new appointment after the current slip expires. If you are unsure which city to choose, contact us before you book.

What should I do if I lose my appointment slip or medical report?

You can download your appointment slip again at any time, at no extra charge, from the Check Booking Status page using your passport number and nationality. The medical report is issued by the medical centre that examined you, so ask that centre for a copy of the full report.

How should I prepare for the Wafid medical examination?

Check that the details on your slip match your passport before you go.
Bring your original passport, the printed appointment slip and passport-size photographs, plus your visa copy if your centre asks for it.
Follow your medical centre's instructions about fasting before blood tests.
Drink plenty of water, rest well the night before and wear comfortable clothing.
Avoid heavy exercise for 48 hours before the examination.
If you take regular medication or have a medical condition, tell the examining doctor.

What documents and fees are needed for the GAMCA medical in Kerala?

Our booking fee is Rs 1,200 (US$18), paid online. The examination fee is paid at the medical centre on the day. In India, applicants typically report paying around Rs 6,500 to Rs 7,500, but confirm the amount with your assigned centre. Bring your appointment slip, original passport and passport-size photographs with a white background (Oman requires a blue background). For Kuwait, also bring your original visa documents. Arrive on time, with documents for each person being examined.
