Wafidbooking is an independent booking-assistance service for the GAMCA / Wafid medical examination — the pre-employment health screening required before a Gulf Cooperation Council work visa is issued.
We are not wafid.com, GAMCA, or any government body, and we are not affiliated with or endorsed by them. The official portal is wafid.com, and you can always book there directly. What we provide is guided booking, a bilingual booking form, and human support for applicants who would rather not deal with the portal themselves. That assistance is what our service fee covers.
The medical examinations themselves are carried out by medical centres approved by the Gulf Health Council for GCC states. We do not own, operate, or staff those centres — we book appointments at them on your behalf.
What we do
Wafidbooking arranges GAMCA / Wafid medical appointments online. You register your details, pay the booking fee, and we issue a confirmation slip for an approved medical centre. GAMCA launched its online service in 2018, and on 15 January 2023 the system was renamed “Wafid”.
Why the medical test is required
Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Kuwait all require a GAMCA / Wafid medical examination from applicants seeking to work in those countries. Booking online avoids queueing in person for a slot.
How booking works
- Fill in the booking form with your passport and travel details.
- Pay the booking fee to confirm your registration.
- Select your city. A medical centre near that city is assigned automatically.
- Manual selection of a specific medical centre is available only for Lebanon, the Philippines, Tanzania, Thailand and Turkey.
- You receive a confirmation email with a PDF appointment slip shortly after booking.
- Attend the assigned centre within 30 days with the printed slip and complete your checkup.
What to expect
Your appointment slip is valid for 30 days from the date of booking. Medical centres are generally open from 10:00 to 18:00. After your examination the centre submits your basic report online, and the full report becomes available online afterwards.
The booking fee you pay us covers the appointment registration only. The medical examination fee is paid separately, directly to the medical centre, on the day of your appointment.
Each booking covers one person. Every applicant needs their own appointment.
